There are plenty of healthy sources of sodium, here's a link to a list: http://lifestyle.iloveindia.com/lounge/sodium-rich-foods-3854.html

Good luck with your healthy goals.Carol Bardellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414701008693189487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5836374047071459104.post-6354282366443142602009-04-04T17:59:00.000-07:002009-04-04T17:59:00.000-07:00Hi Donna,I just don't think drinking any kind of s...Hi Donna,
I just don't think drinking any kind of soda is really good for us. Would be good if you could get your sodium up, by a different way. I was always told to try to drink at least 8 cups of water a day. I am not a doctor, just hope everything works out for you. Wishing you success in your health! :-)Robin Bolandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11422204336420384227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5836374047071459104.post-63641522267492188312009-04-04T12:50:00.000-07:002009-04-04T12:50:00.000-07:00Hi Donna, just an fyi, the test is an "HA1C", like...Hi Donna, just an fyi, the test is an "HA1C", like you, I get the every 3 months and mine is around 9 at the moment. Still too high. Yes, my doctor does say conflicting things sometimes, doctors are, after all, human. As far as the diet soda, I am assuming this is to help get your sodium level up. Soda contains alot of sodium, that is why they usually tell you not to drink too many of them, but in your case, it seems you need the sodium. Low sodium is probably why your blood pressure is low, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Keep up the good work that you are doing, if you don't feel like your doc knows what she's doing, maybe you should get a new one.. just a thought. Cheers! :)Lilysgrammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11060265880810327187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5836374047071459104.post-53751667773687104272009-04-03T17:04:00.000-07:002009-04-03T17:04:00.000-07:00Well Donna your doc sounds a little fruit loopy to...Well Donna your doc sounds a little fruit loopy to me:( But believe it or not I have heard a Doctor say someone was drinking too much water depleting their sodium level, but too recommend drinking more diet soda????
